In-Laws Wanting to grab Dinner After Exposure to Covid-19 This Week
First off: they just told me and I’m terrified because they’re in their 70s! (They has my hubby in their 40s). I guess they grabbed lunch with a relative and this morning that relative called to let them know they were exposed to someone who just tested positive.
while I was talking to his dad, he was coughing the whole 20 minutes. His coughs were so bad he had to walk away from the phone.
But he said it was just allergies. I hope it is! I’m so worried. The other thing that he mentioned was having us over for dinner. I’m 35 weeks pregnant and I’m trying to be soooo cautious because i don’t want to test positive at the time of delivery.
I told them I don’t know how comfortable I feel- especially with the news of the exposure but mentioned us stopping by And just saying hi for a few minutes from our car.
Am I being overly dramatic? My husband has been so supportive. I just texted him exactly what I’m telling all you ladies but he hasn’t responded 😬. My husband is an only child and his parents rely on us all the time. We usually see them once or twice a week but we’ve been slowly (no purposely) not seeing them as much with everything going on. My husband is a firefighter paramedic so he also doesn’t want to risk exposing anything to them since they’re older.
Anyway, is it bad I don’t want to go inside their house and have dinner? Am I being too crazy right now by wanting to only see them from the car?
