Has anyone had a version done? ECV procedure

Just wondering if any mommas have had a successful version done for their breech baby. On Monday I am having the version done but as the day approaches I can’t help but think of all the pros and cons. What was your experience like?

It didn’t work, I chose not to get an epidural and it was very painful. The baby was completely fine and I was fine afterwards but the medicine they give to make your uterine muscles relax (terbutaline) made me shake like a leaf which made the process even worse. My doctor told me after I was a perfect candidate because they could feel the baby really well and she thought it would be an easy turn but he was stubborn I guess. 
I can’t say I regret it because at the time I really felt I needed to do everything possible to be able to have a vaginal delivery and I would have always wondered but I went into labor before my scheduled csection and those contractions made me totally fine with the csection real quick lol. Obviously a csection is a major surgery but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Good luck to you! Hopefully this doesn’t scare you but if you decide to have the version done just get the epidural!
