Vaginal Itch

Okay so warning long post. i slept with my (new boyfriend) a week ago and he used a lube i’ve never used before. i had no immediate symptoms, and he came inside me. and felt fine until 3 days ago.

my vagina itches. like an annoying itch but only around the opening not inside. i went to the doctor and she put me on a 3 day yeast infection medication, but i feel like it’s not helping. but i’m only on day one.

i feel like the itch has kinda gone down but i’m still itchy. i did a baking soda sit bath, ive kept it dry and wore loose panties. i tried putting cortisone cream on, it burned. nothing helps. i’m miserable. i have no discharge, no odor. just itchy. i’m not even super red.

someone please help.
