Child Modeling?

If approached, would you let your young child (let's say under 7 years old) model?

I've seen plenty of controversy online about posting children's pictures to social media (mainly safety and privacy related), and a lot of the comments are around the child growing up and resenting having their face plastered everywhere.

Does that apply to paid modeling? (Let's pretend all income goes into an account only to be used by that child.)

When my first son was a little over a year old, a marketing consultant for my company saw his pictures and asked if I was interested in having him model for department store flyers. My kid is a total poser, but we don't have any of his pictures online and weren't comfortable with the idea so didn't go any further with it.
