Babies nails?

My baby has such sharp nails! I tried cutting & filing them but still he has scratched his face 😢 I feel bad always keeping his hands covered cause he can’t really use them that way.
Any tips /advice? He’s almost a month old. Thanks!

Nothing you can really do. Just cover them, he won't be able to use his hands for a little while anyway and by that time he won't randomly scratch himself as much

A cuticle trimmer worked great for us. No scratches since then.

I just got glass nail files on amazon for my daughter and they worked so much better than anything else I have tried and they definitely made her nails less sharp.

I bite my son’s while he is sleeping or eating.  Just be very careful to not pinch his skin or pull too fast and tear off too much.

I used to clip my son’s nails while he was sleeping when he was a baby. Easier this way ! 🤷🏼‍♀️
