Painful initial latch 😣 Anyone else struggle with latching ?

Anyone else struggle with latching part of breastfeeding?

I must say I’m also scared to insert my boob into the baby’s mouth at first because of the initial latch pain lol 😅 My son bites down so hard and initial sucks are also done with so much force and pressure especially when he’s crying before breastfeeding. My husband laughs when I scream or tense my body as he latches on.

But just a few seconds later, breastfeeding doesn’t hurt at all and is pretty smooth.

anyone else struggle with or scared of the latching part?
