Question

So i follow this page on Instagram called Biglittlefeelings. A few days ago she posted that once a month (i think) her husband books her a night stay at a nearby hotel for just herself to get away. So a full 24 hours for her to grab a cocktail, go to the pool, whatever she wants to recharge and fill her cup. 
Anyone else think this is genius?? I thought this was insanely thoughtful of her husband and I’m tempted to drop subtle hints to mine 🤣

My husband has suggested it and I get so mad because I feel like I don’t need or want to be away from my child for that long. but hearing it from a woman prespective it actually doesn’t sound bad!😂🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

This is genius. I haven’t spent more than five hours without my child in 15 months and certainly haven’t spent a full night away from him. I’m not going to be able to do this for a while because my child doesn’t sleep without me, but as soon as he does, I’m out! I’m not sure I could logistically so it once a month but good for her if she can. And if you can do it, 100% go for it. We all need a break!!

My husband says that he ll do this for me all the time. Never actually have.  Luckily my mom will take both my kids either for a couple hours on her day off. Or sometimes over night to give me a break

I don't know if I'd do it every month, but every other month or something would be nice for sure!
