Absolutely. My provider is my husband’s cousin bc she does it in her mom’s house and the kids there are so smart.

My kids didn’t/won’t go to daycare and they’re just as smart or smarter than kids that did/do. My 8.5 year old was tested and surpassed the scores for GT so she’s pretty much a grade ahead in all subjects. I’m a sahm so I was able to teach them one on one and it’s paid off so far.

I can’t help but notice that everyone around me said « my kid just grew so much during quarantine ! » ... my daughter as well. I think she developed so many things being around mom and dad. 
But daycare is good for them anyway.

Eh. It has helped some social skills. But she has also picked up some bad habits. It helps because she does way more crafts at daycare and I hate doing crafts 😩

Absolutely. His language skills have grown immensely as have his social skills. He goes to a small in-home daycare so it’s a nice balance of learning to be around other kids and also getting individual attention.
