Which “big boy bed” should I buy my 2 year old?

We need the crib for a new baby coming and so we’re looking at buying another buy for our son. I’m worried because he is the type that is very much used to his crib to sleep. He literally will not sleep anywhere else - not on the couch, car, in my bed with me, etc. 
Should I buy a toddler bed? Twin/double bed? Twin/double floor bed?

We went straight to a full bed because that’s what we had. At first with a mattress on the floor and then I put it back on the frame (with a step stool for him to get up) once I knew he wouldn’t fall off.

I would go with some type of bed on the floor! Still not to high up, super easy to get on and off of.. make it fun! We made a super cute cardboard “headboard” for my little sister to make it unique

I got my son a toddler bed because a friend was giving it away and then i brought him a single bed and i regret it heaps! I wish i got a double so i say go for a double bed
