achilles tendon pain

Is Achilles’ tendon pain a real thing associated with pregnancy? My Right has been really painful, and it almost looks bruised. My husband EXTREMELY RESPECTFULLY suggested maybe it was due to increased strain from weight gain. Anyone else? Or am I crazy?
