Hi :(

I just got diagnosed today with HSV2....feeling kind of hopeless but I know this is just going to take some getting used to. Once this first out break is gone I’ll hopefully be in better spirits.

I’ve been seeing this guy for the last year and I am his only sexual partner but my Gyno swears that I would have gotten the virus in the last ten days. Everywhere online however says it can be dormant for awhile so I’m just feeling sort of confused.

Anyway...where do I go from here? Should I never have unprotected sex again? How do I stop feeling like no one will ever love me? Sorry if I sound stupid or dramatic just today has been a really tough day.
