Stupid virus

My husband and I have it and unfortunately we cant go back to work until its says negative work rules

So my question is how do I ask my family for help without sounding like a ass or anything I dont talk to them only if I really have to and most the time they get mad at something so silly I was never close to them they are horrible parents (they let my older brother sexually abuse me for 6mouths when I was 12)

I know it's bad to to ask for money when you havent talk long time but I just dont know what else to do were going to try to get help from the state but they will take long and most likely they wont help that's that they been doing to my inlaws and some friends
