Super clingy baby

HELP! Did any of you have a baby that was insanely clingy? Like, couldn't put them down and walk five steps away without a melt down clingy? Did they ever outgrow it?! 😭

I'm at my wit's end. I'm NOT a clingy person as far as physically (I require a lot of attention I'll just be honest, but physical touch is not something I require much of 😅) and I just can't deal 😭 I NEED my space but even at home my baby always wants to be right beside me if not touching me. He's 11 months.

Did you have any other kids if your first was super clingy? Were they totally different? I've always wanted a big family, but I'm scared to have any more if they're all going to be like this 😭😭😭

I LOVE my baby, I just wish he could learn to play by himself a little. 😭 I thrive off of having time alone and I literally get none.
