Can my LO’s father get a court order for me to stay in the state we are in even though:

1. He barley takes care of him

2. My family lives 2 states away where I would be getting so much help and he would be around his cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents weekly.

3. I don’t trust him alone with our baby for too long because he used to shove his knuckle in his mouth when he was a couple of weeks old in order for him to shut up.

4. He has told me in the past that he will just stop taking care of him because he “never does anything right” (not mixing formula correctly which can poison, sticking knuckle in baby’s mouth)

5. Already have a job lined up because my dad owns a company.

There would be no benefit to him staying here besides being around his dad (sometimes) where in Seattle he would be around his family all of the time and his father could pay to come and visit him.

Also I’m breastfeeding and the main care taker for him. I am not trying to take my son away from him because I understand how important a father son relationship is, since my SO had a dead beat dad. But also I’m depressed here and get no help so I feel as if it would benefit both mom and baby to move back to the mother’s home state.
