Progesterone and spotting?

Hello all. I'm roughly 5 weeks 5 days and I am on Progesterone for low levels (10.5) but I've noticed ice been spotting dark brown/black. The nurse at my clinic wasn't worried and said it's old blood or due to the progesterone suppositories. I take them rectally not vaginally. Has this happened to anyone? Should I worried? It's mostly only there when I wipe and after a bowel movement (TMI SORRY).

same thing happened to me, I was diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma. I was put on a progesterone pill daily and in about a week the spotting cleared up. 
I also spotted brown only when I wiped or after i had a bowel movement. Hang in there! it should get better. brown spotting is okay, just your body expelling out old blood. Be concerned if it changes to bright red, that's when you should contact your doctor.
