My Boyfriend Creeps Out My family???

So my boyfriend of just over a month has met my family and I find him perfectly alright and doesn’t ever give me creepy vibes. But for some reason he creeps out my mom and my sister. Do y’all know why he would be giving them those vibes? My mom told me he gives her pedophile vibes which is weird because he has visible disgust anytime I am watching Criminal Minds and the villain of the episode is a pedophile. Thoughts?

Update: I told him today my family’s concerns because it was /really/ bothering me. He doesn’t think it’ll work out because my family has this ideal of him.

Final update: I didn’t want to have to choose between family and him and I realized after looking at our relationship he had been manipulating me and gas lighting me most of the relationship so I broke it off with him. His response was so childish!
