When/if you started the “cry it out” method how long did it take for them to just go straight to sleep rather than “cry it out”?

My lo is a year now and I am trying this method out. So far so good. I’ve been doing it for two days now and she just cries for 10 minutes then falls asleep. I don’t rock her anymore, I just put her in her crib, give her a paci and blanket, tell her I love her and say goodnight. My question is,  if you used this method, how long did it take your lo to go straight to sleep without any tears? Or does your lo still cry to sleep?

We started when she was 1. The first night we only had to go in twice (fell asleep around 10 minutes total), the second night we only had to go in once (fell asleep around 7 minutes total), and the 3rd night she didn't cry at all

After the first week of sleep training (at almost 5 months) she used to just roll over and go to sleep. Now she’s almost 2.5 and her wind-down period takes longer. She rarely cries (and if she does it usually means something is actually wrong), but she chats to her stuffed animals and sings them songs. A couple times a week we have to go in and remind her it’s time to lay down and sleep.

Honestly, over a month. I read about some babies crying for hours the first few nights and then never again. We never had really long bouts of crying, but it lasted forever. Even when he stopped crying he would almost moan himself to sleep for a while. It’s been almost 3 months since we started ST now though and he goes to sleep without a peep in less than 5 minutes usually, and it’s probably been that way for a month at least.

I used this around 9 months. He used to cry a long time. 30+ minutes. Now (most nights) he will go down no problem. 1-2 times a week he may cry but for maybe 5-10 minutes, and it’s more of a “I don’t wanna sleep yet” fuss/whine

I did it with my son at 14 months. I did go in to comfort but never picked up and would leave after a couple minutes.
It took 3 days for him. First day he cried for 45 minutes, day 2 for 15 and day 3 for 30 seconds.

My son is 20mo and I can count one 1 hand the number if times he's gone to sleep without crying. In his entire life. Never mattered if I rocked him, held him, when he slept with me on my chest. He's currently crying and fighting sleep. But for him, I learned the more I tried to intervene the longer it took and the angrier he got.

A couple of days, but we did controlled crying (like the ferber method). When I walk out he usually calls out to me,  it goes pretty much straight to sleep

My daughter usually cries/fusses for about 3 mins then is asleep within 10. It took a few days, helped that dad took the lead s as the stay at home parent so she didn’t have mom available.
