What “rules” did you have for family members watching your children?

FTM due in October, and my husband feels very strongly that his grandma watch our son at least part time when I go back to work. She raised him, so she’s more like his mom, and I consider her my MIL. Due to a lot of issues we’ve had in the past with her, I don’t feel 100% comfortable with it but it’s really important to him, so I’m trying to compromise. I’ll be going back to work when my baby is about 4.5 months old, and I need to set clear boundaries with her as early as possible to make this work.

What kind of rules did you have for family members that would be watching your baby? I have some in mind, but I could use some advice.
