how to DIY nursery dresser?

I have a large tan, glossy looking dresser. I want to make it grey to match little mans theme! How would I do this? Spray paint or ?

I use chalk paint. I re painted this and it was a dark cherry color:) you don’t have to sand it down!

You can do a light hand sanding (like with 100 grit) to rough it up so new paint adheres. The "proper" way to do it is to completely sand off the exist paint/glass back to the wood or plywood and put your new paint on. Up to you whether you use a robust furniture paint or just us some simple paint like craft acrylic (usually matte, can wash off, etc...).
