Which one is gramatically correct?

Ordering a custom gift for my friend who is getting married. Her fiancés last name is Knowles & the character limit doesn’t support “The Knowles Family”. 
I can’t remember which one is grammatically correct 😅

Since the statement isn’t possessing anything, wouldn’t it just be “The Knowles”? Or alternatively “Knowles Family”. I don’t see a reason for putting in an apostrophe.

I agree with the no apostrophe comment. Unless you're wanting to let everyone know that they own the welcome mat, I would simply put Knowles. It's what I would do if I were buying one for myself. Put Garrett...not Garretts (plural) or Garrett's (possessive).
