Problems with grandparents

Me and my husband are having serious problem with the ILS. They are over and beyond for our two-year-old. Spoil him rotten buy him stuff all the time buy him new clothes all the time. No discipline heaven forbid if they say no to him. Our son is preferring the grandparents over us and it's freaken getting on our nerves. And acts like a shit to us. He is worse to his dad. My husband did not stay home with him as a baby but is pretty involved now. But he still treats his dad like shit. My son has no respect for his dad. My husband is a great father, hes always there, they do special stuff by themselves, provides but it never seems to be enough for Leo.

What do y'all suggest when it comes to his grandparents should we distance for awhile? How do we create that bond with his dad and him?
