I broke up with my bf for cheating and I had no proof..

So long story short.. he's 28 im 25, been together over a year and he just moved into my place two months ago. Well in the year and 2 months we've been together I've never felt weird about his phone.. he was always very open, I knew the password he would leave it around me, pulled down texts whatever. (I'm the same way) he knows all my passwords too. This past week he changed his password, moves the phone away, makes sure he doesn't leave it around me. Something in my gut was just telling me.. obviously it's not his "normal" behavior. I walked into his room ( spare bedroom is his man cave). He was on his messages and instantly closed out as soon as he noticed me.. I sat down and went straight to his face and was like " so your acting weird with your phone.. I don't know the password, you make sure I don't see messages and you just closed it out when I walked in. Now may I please go through your phone?" ( I know he goes through mine so I don't wanna hear any of you girls saying that I was invading his privacy). He tells me "no" and I calmly said okay I'm gonna need you to pack your stuff and leave then.. he starts freaking out but still wont let me see his phone. He's yelling and all I say is "if you want to stay together then let me see your phone". He still denies saying now the problem is my insecurities and that if I don't trust him, he doesn't want me anyway. that I'm just so insecure and immature. so I told him he needed to leave. He freaked.. and was running around my place (yelling about how horrible I was the whole time) "trying to make sure he had all his things". Now i know I had no proof.. but the proof to me was him not letting me see his phone and then gaslighting me. How for the first time in a year and 2 months I CANT see his phone. I'm trying to be strong as this was really a surprise to me.. I honestly didn't think he would ever cheat on me.. he was my bestfriend. but I can't ignore cheating.. my heart is hurt but I'll be okay..
