First Time IUD Placement

Hello! So I finally got an appointment for my IUD placement but I’m so nervous! I’ve never been to a gynecologist or anything like that before so I just don’t know what to expect! I’ve read that I’ll probably have some pain and bleeding, but what else do you think I should know?! I plan on getting the copper IUD as I do not want hormones. I’ve just recently become sexually active so I decided that I an IUD would be the best form of birth control for me. I’d love to hear about your experience and if there’s any advice you’d like to share. Thank you!!
