Our dog got out of the house 3 days ago and hasn’t came back, we have searched the neighborhood over and over again, knocked on people’s doors, put up signs, posted it to every lost pet group and any group on Facebook I could find. And nothing. No one even seen him running around. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have a chip. I really think someone snatched him. My son who is 4, is completely heartbroken. We’ve had him since he was 1. He doesn’t even remember life without him. I keep telling him that we’re trying our best to find him and hopefully he’ll come home soon. But I’m starting to think he won’t. And we won’t find him. When do I tell him he’s not coming back? I don’t want him to give his hopes up.
