Waiting to have sex?

So I have always wanted to wait until the wedding night to have sex. It’s not a religious thing, just something that I always wanted to wait for. Well, we had to postpone our wedding 8 months (this August to next April) due to COVID. 
I’m feeling kinda bummed about all of it. I want to have sex but don’t want to get pregnant. I have an IUD and planned on having my (will be) husband wear a condom. 
Has anyone else had this with postponing their wedding? I just feel really conflicted.

If it’s important to you then you could have a quick fun court wedding just the two of you. You don’t have to wait 9 months for sex and then you still achieved the goal you set. Big wedding still in April

To tired as well😴😴.  We didn't even have sex tell three day after are wedding. We had my husband friend staying with us. He kept my husband occupied tell he left.i didn't want my husband friend to hear us. planning the day off everything is just a exhausting when it finally gets put together. really don't want to wait anymore you could always go to the courthouse wedding and still do the other one next year.
