Spontaneous vs induced labour?

I've has 2 spontaneous natural labours at 40+6 & 40+1 that were both pretty quick (less than 12 hours from nothing to baby being born, active labour being about 3.5hrs both times) & uncomplicated, no pain relief required.

I will be 38 weeks tomorrow but baby is measuring small with less than ideal fluid so we are facing a possible early induction. I'm a bit nervous about an induction as I don't want to start a chain of events leading to a harder labour or needing c section etc.

Would love to hear from people who have had both spontaneous & induced labours to compare or positive induction stories??
