Would you go to a fairly crowded beach during the pandemic if you could set up your area 6 feet from everyone around you?

just went on a beach trip and it was super stressful trying to navigate through the crowds to get to the water and then making sure you didn’t bump into anybody in the water. My family was so incredibly cautious but I don’t think I’ll go on another beach vacation until this is over.

No but only because I don’t want to go to a crowded beach regardless of Covid.

No way. We went to the beach last month but it was a private beach and we were nowhere near other families. So that’s the only way I’d do it.

I don’t do crowded beaches. I grew up on a private beach and my expectation is silence and seeing nobody. I don’t go to the beach unless that’s the option available 🤷🏼‍♀️

I get wanting to use our summer days the best we can, but the risks associated with it just aren’t worth it. I live in in the third biggest hot spot in the US & we refuse to go anywhere for our children’s sake. A couple counties over, over 80 infants caught it. My neighbor who my daughter was playing with got it and the grandmother is dying! Some days I feel bad knowing we could be at the river or beach, but it’s just not worth it.

I’m on the island every day for my job (that I just quit) and my fiancé’s job and I haven’t been ON the beach one time since the whole pandemic started. It’s not even worth it.

We went to the beach a couple weekends ago but we only went in the evening when it wasn’t crowded, so we had no issues finding a spot way more than 6 feet away from others. We tried to go one time earlier in the day just to dip our feet and from the boardwalk it looked like a zoo so we skipped it and bought a lot of candy lol

We did! We had to space the umbrellas 15’ apart. No 4-pt tents were aloud...it was really nice to get away!
