My mum told me her birth was very easy

So I was chatting with my mum this morning and I told her I’m really worried about the pain of labour and birth. She than told me her birth experience with both me and my sister were basically painless and without the use of any painkillers or drugs 😐😐😐 I don’t understand how this is possible and I don’t know if I believe her lol!!! I don’t know if she said that to make me feel less anxious but she seemed really serious when she was telling me. Could this be true? A painless labour and birth?
