COVID and new baby

So my step sons mother signed him up for tackle football. As of now, they are playing..., even though all high schools have canceled their football in this area of Wisconsin ( Milwaukee). My husband puts him above myself and our new baby.,, so I know for a fact it will be a touchy subject. What would you do? He’s here only every other weekend...but I’m considering staying with my parents with my son to keep him safe until football is over. I’m anxious, mad, and everything else bc I know my husband will get mad and not understand. I know for a fact he won’t say he will have to miss the weekends until tackle football is done or it is safe.
