bf curious about pill

hey all.

started birth control eight days ago. decided it was working because i was regularly suppose to start my period yesterday and haven’t seen any signs yet. had sex today, bf asked if he should pull out and i said yeah maybe that’s a good idea, even though i’m on the pill now. he asked when it was supposed to take effect cause he didn’t wanna end up giving me a scare (very considerate man lmao). i said probably a good idea to pull anyways so he did.

he’s now wondering what the risk is, and i told him i take my pill between 7:30-8am every day, and have been since last friday, and he pulled out so i’m not too worried.

ladies send some input cause i don’t want to stress this poor man out again 😂
