Bruise??

So my 11 month old daughter is always messing with her ears but I dont think she could hurt herself enough to bruise herself. 
On her ear a purple spot popped up about a week ago and now its turned into a bigger purple and brown spot.
I'm probably just being dramatic and worrisome for no reason but is this normal? Or look normal??

It looks like a normal bruise. If she pinched it really hard on accident if could bruise. I once had something like this on my eyebrow- kind of just below the brow hair and before the lid, but still on the bone part- I wasn’t sure how it got there or when it happened until I realized that my boy (2 y.o.) had actually gotten me with a toy on accident earlier in the day when I had gone to pick him up and down so a little awkwardly. So, it looks like a normal bruise, it could just be from anything even something accidental and small. I would just keep an eye on it.

Is that a bruise behind her ear or just a shadow? Sometimes ppl look for bruises on the cartilage of little ones ears as a sign of abuse...like if someone boxes her ears at daycare? If she’s pulling on her ears hard enough to cause a bruise, I would consider an er infection if she’s fussy
