It is less than 10 minutes... more like 5 or 7. The sewing up takes much longer, but by then you have your baby so it’s all good. Going under general you may not be awake for hours...

Not that long I got into the surgery room at like 7:20pm by 7:30pm my daughter was born so definitely not that long in my opinion I’ll be having another c section with this baby as well

I can’t really tell how much time it took but I’d say maybe 30-45 minutes. It goes by SO fast. I have horrible anxiety too and they offered to give me anxiety meds for my C section and told me it could cause memory loss and I wouldn’t remember seeing my son. That wasn’t worth it to me.

Mine took waaaaay less time than an hour, and that was with her hiding up in my ribs and them having difficulties getting her out haha. Like maybe 20 minutes, with them sewing me back up

With mine baby was out within 10 mins and the sewing up part took longer about 20 mins - but I had bubba by then so didn’t really notice it. The only side effect I had was uncontrollable shakes from the morphine.

I'm not sure on the cutting, but the entire thing was about 30-45 mins. I was more nervous for the epidural, they gave me fentanyl to get me relaxed.

An hour. I was in and out to my own room in 15 minutes. The longest process was waiting in the doctor to get to the hospital but at that point I was in a room just hooked to monitors, I was into the surgical room tell after my doctor was there and ready to go.

I wouldn’t opt to be put to sleep. You won’t get to see your baby right away. They can give you something if you begin to get too anxious

The cutting? 5-10 minutes from cut to baby out. The whole time in the c section room...about an hour from in to rolling out.
