Is it okay to leave baby bottles wet after sterelizing?

After sterelizing my bottles and my pump every 24h, I usually need to use them straight away so I've never used them dry. In fact when I came out of the hospital a month ago, I was told by an old auntie that right after sterelizing I should keep the bottles closed to avoid contamination. It is only a couple of days ago I read articles about how to dry up your bottles. Is it absolutely required? Is there any danger associated with not doing it? How do you dry your bottles and how long does it take you?

You don’t even have to be sterilizing in the first place. We exclusively formula feed our babies from birch and have never once sterilized anything. All you need is soap and hot water. So we use our bottles whether they’re wet or dry with no issues. Your child will be just fine.

Never used a sterilizer for this exact reason. The sterilizer doesn't dry them and once the bottles are taken out they are no longer sterile. Wash in the dishwasher or hand wash and let them air dry. If I needed to use them right away I did a quick wipe down with a paper towel

I sterilise mine at night and my sterilizer get to a certain temperature that it dries them

I bought the kit that came with a steriliser, bottles, pots, dummies etc...
I maybe used the steriliser 3 or 4 times! My son is 12 weeks old today. We just wash and let them air all dry now. 
We swapped from the bottles that came with the kit to the anti-colic ones and we did put them in there before we used them for the first time. 
I’d probably keep it and use it if we bought more bottles or dummies etc before first use but then wash and air dry them after that. 
We also sometimes have to “wash and go” - as long as thoroughly rinsed, I’ve made him up some milk before while the bottle was still wet 🤷🏼‍♀️ 
Don’t leave the steriliser wet inside after use and close the lid though! I made that mistake the second time I used it... took everything out and put the lid back on before it had dried out. Was going to wipe dry with kitchen towel after feeding my son but forgot. Not a pleasant smell the next time I took the lid off... had to scrub it all down to get rid.

I have the baby Brezza sterilizer and it drys the bottles and pump parts...it was so easy to use!! Definitely my favorite baby item. After I pump I wash it immediately and then run it in the sanitizer, then it’s ready for me for the next feeding and pump session...also it holds like 6 bottles at once. Yeah I definitely wouldn’t close still wet bottles because that’s a literal recipe for mold and mildew 🤔 But I just leave them out to let them air dry.
