Should I stop taking birth control?

Ok so I’ve been on the pill for about a month and a half now

Cons:

-I got it because I was going to lose my virginity, but now my boyfriend thinks he wants to wait until marriage (understandable, he’s Christian)

-It’s $15 a month

-I also got it to shorten periods because periods are annoying af and it’s caused a lot of ovulation spotting anyways so it’s MORE BLEEDING

Pros:

-Did shorten my actual period a lot (like A LOT)

-I’ll probably stop ovulation spotting soon once I get used to the hormone difference

-I’ll need it someday when I actually do have sex

-It’s not too big of a deal to keep it, may as well
