Christmas conspiracy.

So I have a lot of siblings and with almost half of them being married there is enough of us I can send a gift to someone every week until Christmas. So I decided it would be a fun to do that but send it from “Santa”, so now everyone will have to try and figure out who Santa is and of course I’m sending a gift to myself so no one would know. Sending the packages to my parents so they have a reason to go visit mom and dad. Everyone’s usually busy or doing own thing we rarely see each other so I know my parents would love this, my mom even always prepares extra food every night in case someone stops by in hopes they’d stay a little longer I live next door so I’m over all the time. The first person to get a gift was actually supposed to be the 3rd person and because she’s known buying stuff and hiding it from her husband I almost caused a huge fight 🙀. It would have been great except that while you can change your name on the amazon gift receipt you can’t change it when they scan the QR code to send thank you. Thankfully the 2 that have already gotten gifts didn’t think of it, however I know the next one up will because he use to work for Amazon he knows how it works. So I had to let my parents in on the secret. Not a big deal since it’s not really their Christmas gift but had to send them something so no one suspected them. My dad couldn’t stop laughing mostly because I almost got my SIL yelled at. My mom was just whatever but thought it was cool. Anyways so after talking to amazon they said they couldn’t change the name so I had to create a new amazon account with fake name to add even more to the conspiracy. I told my parents to expect one for mom and I’d need to scan qr to make sure it works since it’s still connected to my other account (you can add family so you don’t have to pay for prime on several accounts). Anyways so two packages were delivered while they we were on vacation and when I went over there to watch them open it and you know add to and enjoy the conspiracy going on for the ones still at home I was kinda ignored. The packages were kept up in their room and my dad had already thrown away the code so I just went home after 15 minutes of sitting there quietly. I don’t think they meant it. We all (my family and theirs) just got back from the cabin and the house/dog sitter let the dogs destroy the house so there was a huge mess and my dad probably forgot I wanted to scan the code. It still hurt though, I felt like I was doing something cool and fun to get the family together and now I feel stupid and like it’s lame. Is it lame? Should I not do it anymore?
