Blood thinners -rash

Has anyone ever been diagnosed with a DVT while pregnant? I had one at 7 weeks and now I’m on blood thinners til at least 2 months after a deliver. The kicker, my hematologist told me today that the one I had was so mild that if I wasn’t pregnant it would’ve resolved without even having treatment.

Anyway, for this of you who did or do, were you on lovonox? I started getting really itchy and figured it was just part of it. Then it got worse to the point that I had huge red blobs on my stomach. I called my doctor on Friday and someone from the practice switched me to heparin. Saw him today and he said this was not a common reaction to lovonox and thinks something else is the cause. My sister is a trauma nurse and she’s worried about it turning into cellulitis but dr doesn’t think it is.

It just sucks bc now instead of having the nice pre-filled syringe I have to fill the syringe with a vial of the medicine. He told Me they make one but the pharmacist said it’s super difficult to do and most places don’t even sell it anymore including them. I wish they could just see if it got better and take me off the medicine.
