“Mom shaming”
What is your opinion on the term “mom shaming.”
Do you think that we as a society have become too sensitive and cry “mom shamer” anytime someone disagrees with your parenting methods?
Or do you think we as a society have just become more aware of others and have just become more kind?
Do you think there is ever a good reason to “mom shame,” or hold someone accountable for dangerous parenting?
For example, big difference between maybe a mother started feeding solids really early, but with the okay from her pediatrician and doctor and her baby’s development is at a place where it is okay to start solids. Vs. Seeing a mother put her child in a car seat wrong or front facing too early.
At what point (if at all) could “mom shaming” be acceptable?
