Mucusy poop? Milk allergy?

She is BF abf supplement formula fed.. I’m starting to worry about a milk allergy? Frequent (like EVERY single feed) spit up, grunting at night, gassy, and just appears uncomfortable afyer feeding sometimes
Anyone go through this with similar symptoms and try the hypoallergenic formula with success?

I would contact your pediatrician I don’t think any of the symptoms are serious allergy symptoms spit up is normal to an extent as well as gassiness and grunting..  but they can test a dirty diaper to see if baby is allergic to the milk protein, we switched to alimentum because my son has a milk allergy and gerd. He went from 70th percentile to the 16th percentile and would not eat more than 15-18 oz a day and wasn’t gaining any weight.. the formula and omeprazole has made a huge difference but I would definitely contact the doctor before switching formula without knowing for sure cause it could do more harm than good. I know you’re supposed to talk to pediatrician before switching formulas, but my mom went through this with my brother and me when we were babies. My baby was on gentlease and wasn’t doing good on it, so we tried sensitive formula with decreased lactose before hypoallergenic because it’s expensive. He still was having watery BMs (TMI but it would like shoot out of him when we would change him), extremely gassy, projectile spit up so I listened to my mom and tried alimentum. In two days, he was a completely different baby. Not crying or hurting, he wasn’t having BMs within 15 minutes of eating- he’s gone to having one every morning. Hypoallergenic is easier to digest for their bellies but our pediatrician was fine with us switching to alimentum and she is keeping him on it.

I’d show your doctor, do you have an over supply by any chance? Babies poo can be green if they’re getting too much fire milk. Give it a google, might be helpful xx
