Trying to conceive

how long did it take for y’all to conceive your 1st child? My husband and I have been trying for 4 months and nothing’s happened. Meanwhile both my sisters and my husbands cousin announced that they were pregnant and none of them where even trying! I get symptoms for about a week and then my period will be a few days late but then when I test it’s almost the very next day is when my period comes. I’m almost ready to give up😔 it feels like everyone is getting pregnant but me and makes me want to stop trying😒😒
