Advice
I’m 20, and my boyfriend is 19. We have been TTC for 6 months now. I know pregnancy happens at different times for everyone or maybe it’s false information I’ve been given in the past but as a 20 year old I expected to be super super fertile and get pregnant ASAP, probably stupid I know. I’m just feeling really scared and worried that I may not be able to have children because I’m just having no luck, my friends keep rubbing it in my face saying well I didn’t have a problem i was pregnant in a week, and my other friend got pregnant a month after her nexplanon got removed. I’ve heard so many stories of people getting pregnant straight away, my periods are completely regular so I don’t honestly feel like it’s still the progesterone leaving my body because I’ve had it out for 6 months and my nurse told me that I should be well regulated etc before then and if not to come back if I had any problems which I haven’t, I got my period back straight away it’s just the conceiving😭
I just wanted some advice on whether or not you think it would be a good idea to maybe go back to my doctor and have a talk? Maybe get some tests done for me and my partner. I got told by one of my friends that in the UK you have to be trying for over 2 years under the age of 30+ before they’ll look into it properly etc so she told me not to bother..it just makes me so sad and so worried because I look at everyone else my age popping babies out left right and centre not even trying 😭😭 it’s just sad and I just needed a little rant and maybe to get some advice I don’t know really
