Heavy period

To start, I weaned my LO at 13 months. I got my period about 2 weeks after that and it was pretty scary. I had to change my pad about every hour for two days and it lasted almost 2 full weeks. I'm on period number two and it's just as heavy. Is this normal?

I don't have insurance so I'm a bit nervous to go to the doctor for nothing...

In happier news, my LO did the best at the 15 month check up! Nurses said she was giving them attitude like a 5 year old 😍
