How often do you grocery shop?

Hey everyone I’ve been vegetarian about a little over 2 months now. I don’t cook a lot so I use quite a bit of meat substitutes that I usually keep in the freezer unless I’m using them of course. The only thing I need to buy every week or two is fresh fruits and veggies so I was thinking about only shopping for quite a bit once a month. Also I only buy food for myself so little bags of things can go a long way. Does anyone else do this or how often do y’all shop?

I shop weekly with my boyfriend. We’re not yet used to knowing how much we need 😂 growing up my mom usually shopped every other week. I’d say if you’re buying produce I’m not sure once a month would work? Unless you’re freezing the produce? Because it goes bad so quickly? Not 100% on that I just know Everytime we get produce it’s bad like .3 seconds later it seems 😂

Daily or at least every other day at times, I’m horrible about planning dinner so I never have a protein ready to be cooked when I go home, so I always stop to pick something up to go home and cook. Granted, my family ate out (every meal) for 2 month straight so all we had at home were drinks and snacks, and just picked those up as needed.

We shop weekly because we don't eat processed foods. We can survive just going to farmers market but we hit up produce stands 1-2× week and have produce delivery from a local farm. We buy local meat and stock our freezers.

I do my big grocery shopping every two weeks.
But we always ending up going a few times in between for basics, milk/eggs. The stuff we go through quick.

I have a family of 5 so I shop weekly all be it I may buy more then I actually need but it all eventually end up getting used lol
