So my 16 month old came home from daycare like this...

I asked the teacher what happened she said “he touched the slide outside and started crying, I think he got burnt from it since it’s so hot” now they are the big plastic slides that can get hot but I wouldn’t think would cause this.

She said she doesn’t like taking the one year old class out in the afternoon when it’s this hot but the director says ABC and DSS say they HAVE to. Now I know kids need outside time but if they are around hot equipment that could burn them you’d think something could change.

I contacted the director and she told me it doesn’t look like a burn but more of a bite or sting... I disagree, it’s rough feeling and doesn’t resemble a bite to me... what do y’all think?
