Long distance relationship? Need advice

Question

My boyfriend has applied for a new job and has been interviewed and he seems really positive.
Problem: it is 6 hours away. He would be moving 6 hours away from me.
We already live an hour apart and only see each other twice a week, and that's hard enough.
I don't know how I will cope if he moves that far away.
I would go with him, no questions asked, but I can't. I am studying Law and I still have 3 years left of my degree, and I can't leave. There is no university in or close to the city he'll be in, and my uni is the best for law so for my career I'm best to stay.
But I would miss him so much.
I just don't know what to do.
He hates his current job, so I really hope he gets this one. He would be back in the city where his dad lives and his older sister with kids is moving to.
I would be so happy for him but so sad for me. 
I just need some encouragement/advice please ladies. 😔

Long distance can work, if both partners are willing to try. In the end, your dreams are more important than any relationship. No matter how good or stable it is, you have the most control over your happiness when you're doing you, and not giving up a thing. And you can do that while being with someone! It's hard but I think either way, staying and finishing school is the best thing to do

You just make it work. If its meant to be after those 3 years it will be. I'm in a long distance relationship every couple years when my husband deploys. It's hard but doable.

I wouldn’t be okay with that. I’d expect my boyfriend to be able to find a job closer than that if we were long-term. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this.

Maybe I’m selfish but I would be really upset. I’d feel like he was prioritizing the job over the relationship. My bf and I live an hour apart and I already get annoyed with it but I deal with it currently. But I feel like our next steps are to move closer to each other not further apart. 
It’s tough though especially if he doesn’t like his current job. Long distance can work if you really want it too though! But I totally get how you feel...have you talked about it with him?!
