Anyone have experience with an anterior placenta ?

Pregnant with baby number #2 and at the ultrasound yesterday we found out I have anterior placenta. I went to my doctor appointment before the ultrasound so my husband could go to the ultrasound (work wouldn’t let him leave early ☹️) 
I have been googling it and thankfully I didn’t fall down the black hole of terrible news but it looks like it can move and I can still have a normal delivery. So would I have another ultrasound before the birth or are there any special tests your doctors do because you had one? Any knowledge or experience with this is appreciated:)

I had anterior for both June babies. Totally normal and super common. I honestly felt both babies move pretty early compared to most people, but it’s common to feel movement a little later because the placenta sort of blocks you from feeling it as much.

There’s no rabbit hole. This is just where the placenta attaches to the uterus. It can take a little longer to feel movement, but it doesn’t negatively affect pregnancy or delivery.

I think you’re confusing an anterior placenta and placenta previa. I had an anterior placenta with both pregnancies and placenta previa with my June baby. 
Anterior placentas setup in front so it may take longer for you or somebody else to feel kicks or movement. This caused no complications.
Placenta previa is when the placenta is too close or overlapping and blocking the cervix. If this doesn’t move upwards closer to delivery a c section is needed as baby’s exit is blocked. I had a mild case of this that corrected itself by 33 weeks

I had an anterior placenta with my first baby. There’s nothing more to it other than it attached to the front of your stomach and you might not feel as much movement

I had one other June baby and it’s nothing except where the egg attaches to your uterus Also it may be hard to track on a monitor because where it’s located from and center of your belly

I had one but nothing bad. It just took longer for me to feel her. And my husband could barely feel her touching his hand to my belly. That's about it.

I had an anterior placenta and had no issues. 
It is said you feel the baby movement later and not as much, but I felt everything and from early as well.
I had no issues during delivery as well. But this was my experience and not everyone's will be the same.

It doesn't affect delivery at all 😊 it may just mean you feel movements slightly later...i had a low lying placenta with my first which would be a problem but it moved to the front, I just meant I didnt feel her move until I was around 24 weeks 😊 congratulations 😊

I had one! It took me a little longer to feel baby but everything was fine its completely normal

I had it both pregnancies! My doctors were never concerned and I still felt them move early on. Nothing to stress yourself over mama!
