Done with depo💉

Well today is my appointment to change my birth control. I’ve been on the depo shot for a full year and honestly I really liked it. There’s only two reasons why I’ve decided to switch back to the pill. 1 my acne was no where near as bad on the pill. 2 during the third month (I get my shot every three months) I get my period but it tends to last the whole month. This used to not bother me as much but now that I’m in a serious relationship with another woman, it somewhat narrows down the time frames of when we can have sex.

It wasn’t a horror story like most people try to tell you. It truly effects everyone differently. Besides those two things I genuinely loved being on it and not having to worry about missing a pill. Also made my boobs grow about a half a cup size and only gained 10 pounds which I needed. Kinda wish I would’ve gained more tbh.
