I have the worst luck with friends

I grew up in a very strict religion, and that’s where I always made friends. Into adulthood, that’s how I made friends wherever I went. After college, I moved to a new state and decided to finally explore and find myself. That lead me to leaving my church. And I lost all of my friends and apparently my ability to make friends. My husband and I moved across the country almost 2 years ago, and I had made a friend outside of my sisters in law. But that friendship ended today. I feel like when I finally make friends, I just end up losing them over something stupid. Any advice on how to meet new people and make friends as a 30-something mom?
