Self-weaning?

I'm a FTM, still breastfeeding, and I'm pretty sure my LO weaned himself off the middle of the day (lunchtime) breastfeed. Refuses the breast and prefers solids and a cup of water. I'm happy to follow his lead, but just want to mentally prepare myself: in your experience how fast do they wean off the rest of the feeds?

At this age, it would just be a nursing strike.  You need to push through as formula or breastmilk should be the primary nutrition until a year

My baby started refusing the boob during the day at 7 months. I know everyone says to push through but it was not worth fighting my child and was making us both miserable. He still nurses before bed and during the night but just has water during the day and he’s now 10.5 months. Gaining weight just fine and super healthy

My daughter was born 9/23/19 and she has dropped feeds and is definitely still breastfeeding, my son was born 4/18/18 and I breastfed him for 16 months , the last couple months was just once in the morning, dropping feeds can take months.

Where I live recommendations say it is fine if he nurses 2-3 times a day 😊
