Does your little is speaking already ?

My son don’t speak he will say mama or papa(dad in Spanish)that’s it. He don’t wave but he could shake his head no and sign no too. Nothing else he would scream or point  but nothing else. Would be 1 on the 15th should I worry.

No words with associations here and he will be one on Friday. Still just babbling. No need to be concerned as of yet (I work in Speech)

Little girl is VERY vocal lol.  She will say Nana, mama, dada, daddy, and nony (her favorite uncle Tony), she will answer yea of her new favorite NO NO. Lol she is very proud of that one.

I wouldn’t be concerned. My baby still says mama, dada, and couple animal sounds. My pediatrician said around 15 months they start to say words

We will be one on Friday and the only words we say are Dada, uh-oh, and bubba (he picked this up at daycare since he has no siblings 😂). He has only said mama twice and Gaga (my mom) once.

No worries at all. He is doing great! Saying Mama and Papa is the first step. My son doesn’t say much besides that either and “Na-Na” which means “stop” in his baby gibberish.
