Ovulation after miscarriage ?

Hi there, 
I experienced a miscarriage in August at 5 1/2 weeks. Two weeks later I appeared to have ovulated, at least I think it did. I had al lithe normal signs. 
I am just curious if anyone has ovulated this early after a miscarriage, and if they conceived? I have read that you might be more fertile after miscarrying? 
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this. Thank you In advance.

I'm sorry for your loss. I had an early miscarriage in June, and my ovulation afterwards was actually a week later than expected. But, we did end up concieving in July. I'm now almost 10 weeks. Our doctor did advise us to wait a cycle, but we were feeling mentally and physically ready. I would say that it does complicate guessing the gestational age with not having a period in between, but we were able to figure all of that out based on when I had a positive opk and with an ultrasound. I would just say to wait until you feel completely ready and try not to put any pressure on it happening. We did that in July and everything has gone great so far... fingers crossed and baby dust to you!
